Sonic Art vrs Dance debut meets brilliant conceptual film
Tonight's golden moment at WORM will be SATO ENDO (movement) and JASON KAHN (percussion & analog synthesizer)'s first collaboration as a duo, having previously combined for "Still Echo" at the Melkweg, Amsterdam in 2008. Concentrated sonic art meets, concentrated self-awareness.
Their blind date is 35mm film TEATRO AMAZONAS. Staged in the beautiful architectural folly built at the heart of the Brazilian jungle and celebrated in Herzog's FITZCARRALDO, Sharon Lockart's film is a brilliant conceptual gambit, bridging geographic and cultural distance to bring two disparate audiences face to face.
